Structuring and execution of M&A deals with focus on retail and investment banking in Austria, Italy, Poland and Turkey, company evaluations, coordination of the sales process and activities post closing, assistance during due diligence and negotiation process, impact analysis for acquisitions and disposals of participations on the Group’s capital ratios

Competitive benchmarking of Italian retail banks, development of strategic business plans for major Italian retail banks, assessment of and insight into operative inefficiencies in the financial sector, market research on the Italian and European retail banking market (innovative products, changes in customer behaviour, etc.), database development

Internal benchmarks on performance of overall branch network, coordination of remodelling, construction and closure of branches, elaboration of strategic options and business development opportunities for the banking group, organisation of targeted promotional activities for the private banking client segment in Italy and Germany
