I did my masters in Microbiology and Immunology at Georgetown University. During my course I also worked as a research assistant at Dr. Stephan Menne's lab who's research is on Hepatitis B virus and in Dr. Glasgow's lab, which is a genetic lab using zebra fish as their animal model for research.

My engineering degree is in Biotechnology and my research concentration was on dental infection. I worked as a student researcher at Krishnadewaraya dental school during my undergraduate under Dr. Arul Selvan (KCDS). I have published a paper in AJBBL journal based on work at KCDS.
