The Finnish eCommerce Service Center (e-finland.org) is the leading e-commerce forum and information media in Finland. It was founded in March 2000, as part of EU Commission and Internet Society's (ISOC) project. During the merging of 3 software companies (DataCheck Oy, Modern Soft Oy and Tietovoima Oy) into the new Aldata Solution, I was taking care of the internal, mainly software production related projects, like system specifications, reversion & documentation, HRD, Euro, Y2000. The role incl. the main POS-system design development and specifications, and customers consultation in the potential and practical use of this systems in the retail sector. Now Aldata is the leading international company.

Software production and ICT-consultation for the retail sector in Finland. And yes, small production of computers. The company was sold in 1997 to Finnish private company.

SVTK was one of the leading retail research companies in Finland, with more than 80 employees. The company was sold to a private company. The key Accomplishment: Still the biggest retail price research in Finland – with 260 stores and 500 products. All operations were sold in December 1994 to international company.

I was working in the development of S Groups (SOK) retail supermarket chains (S-market, Prisma, Alepa) concepts and operations, and in the testing and implementation of new POS system in all supermarket stores. SOK is the biggest in Finland in its field, and provides services for the supermarket trade, service station store and fuel trade, the department store and speciality store trade, the hotel and restaurant business, the vehicle and automotive accessories trade as well as the agricultural trade.
