Responsible for the design, development, trouble-shooting, & release of automotive locking systems for OEMs. Included creation of FMEAs, utilizing APQP principles, & close work with customers. • Resolved vehicle walk-home issue for Ford Motor Company by developing short-term & permanent solutions preventing a vehicle recall and restoring customer satisfaction with the company.

Responsible for the design, development, & release of small electric & non-electric kitchen appliances and cookware. Work included interfacing with customers, marketing, sales, quality, manufacturing, test laboratory, & model shop personnel. Responsible to insure UL listing and CSA Certification requirements & approvals were satisfied. • Designed, developed, & released a whistling thermal knob resulting in a unique product offering, adding over $1 million in sales.

Included working closely with purchasing, certification/compliance engineering, testing & development, & model shop to insure solutions were cost effective & effective. • Resolved brake issue for delivery truck chassis for large customer by hands-on development, testing, & verification efforts.
