Über mich
I studied biology and am working for more than 25 years in bacterial pathogenesis. The focus of my work is to understand bacterial strategies during acute and chronic infections, antimicrobial treatments and host-pathogen interaction. I am leading a research group since 2014 at Jena University Hospital. We use several tools in our research such as cell culture models, biochips, real time PCR, -omics, ELISA, flow cytometer, imaging, in vivo models, molecular biology and microbiology tools. You can find our work at pubmed under the name Tuchscherr L or Tuchscherr L.P.
