Lukas Zimmermann

The MBA Games Organizing Committee is a student-run organization, which organized the BC MBA Games 2016 (150 participants) and National MBA Games 2017 (550 participants) at Vancouver Island University. Role • Led the Operations and Logistics team & provided project management support • Organized transportation for over 120 participants at the BC MBA Games 2016 • Organized transportation and housing for over 550 participants and volunteers at the MBA Games 2017

• Member of the Operational Excellence team, with focus on the company-wide Lean initiative • Successfully led a cross-departmental project team, consisting of 9 functional managers • Gained knowledge and experience in the area of process design, change management, project management, and Lean Six Sigma

• Designed the curriculum and prepared the teaching materials for the course INTRODUCTION TO FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING, in accordance with the program requirements • Prepared 14 lessons and lectured them to the English-speaking class of the BSc in Tourism program

• Handled the entire order process of national and international customers • Provided project management support to sales managerssales • Developed internal project plans and monitored progress • Coordinated project changes with internal and external stakeholders • Optimized the input mask of the ERP-system in collaboration with the IT department • Compiled and revised working instructions for the Customer Service team.
