Under supervision of Pr. Ralf-Peter Jansen, I am working on RNA-binding protein Bfr1p with its interacting mRNAs and its role in post-translational regulation (mRNA localization, protein expression and protein localization) in yeast as a model organism. To answer it, I am using Biochemical (sub-cellular fractionations, immuno-precipitations, confocal microscopy and immunoblotting), Cell biology (yeast growth and phenotype assays and FACS) and Molecular biology (cloning, PCR and qRT-PCR ) approach.

Worked in prestigious lab of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Lührmann and Dr. Vladimir Pena. Successfully cloned (Baculovirus), transfected and generated insect cell lines to express recombinant proteins Prp8 and Prp16 of human spliceosome in eukaryotic expression system. Managed several recombinant protein production projects of the team and delivered 14 clones with single and double mutations within 2 weeks.
