Responsible for Morningstar's European, Middle East and African operations.

Responsible for Morningstar's UK operations. The UK is Morningstar's largest non-US market.

Overall responsibility for products, solutions and operations for Morningstar's EMEA operations. This post is in addition to the CEO, UK responsibilities.

Charged with the expansion of the Morningstar Switzerland office from a two-person operation to over twenty people. Built Morningstar into the premier supplier of fund information in Switzerland, with the highest growth rate in the Morningstar European operations.

Newly-created post with Europe-wide responsibilities charged with the successful European implementation of a global re-organization. Responsible for coordination of the solutions and products groups, the sales organization and country CEOs, to build efficient business processes and rules of engagement. Based in London.

Temporary, part-time position, working with the new full-time CEO of Australia, to bring Morningstar’s third biggest market back on track. The position is expected to last until late 2014 and is in addition to the COO, Europe role above. It involves a fairly long commute every 4-5 weeks.

Started up the Spain and Portugal operation in Madrid in 2001 and ran it for the next thirteen years. Set up Morningstar’s Latin American operations in 2007 in Miami and have since extended to three full time offices.

Responsible for all new geographical expansion at Morningstar, including market analysis, business development, sales and initial set-up and operation. New offices set up and managed since 2010 included Mexico, Chile, Brazil and Dubai. I also acted as the direct report and mentor for our younger operations in Thailand and South Africa.

Portfolio management and design of quantitative investment products for institutional accounts. • Passive fixed income products and strategies for global bonds (hedged/unhedged). • Index-plus products for international fixed income • Development of fixed income risk control and portfolio management analytics.

Quantitative researcher in the Capital Markets Research group, focusing primarily on international fixed income. • Multi-factor characterization of yield curve movements for all countries in the J.P. Morgan Global Government Bond Index. • Development and design of a risk measurement platform for international fixed income portfolios. • Development of the JPMIM global and single country optimization platforms for fixed income portfolios. • Performance attribution schemes for global fixed income.

Based in the Banking and Capital Markets Department, I worked primarily on Portuguese privatization valuations.
