I created an inventory system to track the movement of the hotel's items with the computer program Materials Control. I instructed my department how to conduct proper inventory checks, negotiated with suppliers, and fought product loss from theft, expiration, and infestation. I was directly in charge of four employees and reported their performance to the hotel's financial controller. All was done in a trilingual environment.

I promoted new methods of agriculture to prevent soil erosion, malnutrition, and farming practices that frequently lead to famine in Africa. I introduced new crops in order to diversify their diets and plants, which would effectively combat malnutrition and famines induced by crop failure respectively. I was also the English teacher at the local secondary school where I taught two academic levels three days a week about English, world culture, and the world outside of their village.
