Within UNESCO’s broad educational mandate, the mission of the Institute is to promote the recognition of and create the conditions for the exercise of the right to education and learning. As a non-profit international Institute of UNESCO, the Institute undertakes research, capacity-building, networking and publication on lifelong learning with a focus on adult and continuing education, literacy and non-formal basic education.

Created in 2001 by Hervé Heyraud, lepetitjournal.com offers a mix between international news and local information in 64 cities in the world. Entirely free and independent, the website covers thematic issues from news, sports, culture, gastronomy, politics... along with local information (cultural events, shows, plays, concerts). A real journal for French and francophone expatriates, lepetitjournal allows them to keep in touch with France wherever they are in the world.

The Institut Français is in charge of implementing France’s cultural action abroad. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its role is to act as the conduit for a new, more ambitious “diplomacy of influence”, within the framework of French governmental policies and priorities. It helps to promote French influence abroad through greater dialogue with foreign cultures while responding to the needs of France via a policy of listening, partnership and openness to other cultures.

Writing Fellow at the Arts Diplomacy Network, an international network of professionals dedicated to promoting the use of visual, literary and performing arts in building cross-cultural relationships. Our mission is to ensure sustainable innovation in arts diplomacy by providing a forum for research, discussion, and implementation of new practices designed to effect positive change in a global society.

Assisting Mr. Daanish Masood (Advisor -Political Affairs and Media) in drafting conflict resolution proposals, press releases and speechwriting (for instance speeches for U.N. Secretary General Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Jan Eliasson, High Representative of the UNAOC Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Nasser...). Working closely with the political advisor to promote intercultural and interfaith communication in places of conflict.
