Project: New formulations of colistin for the topical treatment of burn wounds. - Bacteriological investigations: culture, identification. - Formulation and characterization of nanoparticles for drug delivery. - Hemolysis test. - MIC for the determination of the antimicrobial activity of the formulation. - In vitro release test of formulations and HPLC analysis.

Morphological and morphometric evaluations of the retina and of the different layers that compose it " - Isolation, fixation, processing and embedding of tissues in paraffin. - Microtome cutting. - Histological stains, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and morphometric analyzes for the quantification of tissue damage markers of different anatomical districts.

Master’s Thesis entitled: “Human tubule HK-2 cell line as a tool for the investigation of histamine receptor function”. Aimed to setting-up a model to investigate the role of the histamine in the regulation of the expression and function of proteins involved in reabsorptive process in the proximal tubule.

Bachelor Thesis entitled: "Viroporin function in the virus life cycle”, aimed to elucidatet the presence in the viruses of non-structural proteins that have central role in the viral life cycle. Among them a class of small pore-forming proteins, called viroporins, are present with a helping role in viral replication.
