Max Cohen

I work with Author's on their manuscripts (Electrical Engineering department), i.e. proofreading them, getting them into production and meet their deadlines. I do data entry, and mailings. I design flyers to promote books. I write out contracts for authors, and handle corespondences between author's, my boss, production, and anyone else they need to get in touch with.

This is the job I previously held all through college. It was my summer, winter break, whenever job. I did general lab maintenance, weighed out catalyst for reactions, cleaned glassware, fabricated materials every so often, and helped run a glass vacuum line that turned gas into pure graphite for carbon dating analysis. One summer I ran a glass vacuum line that turned sea water into CO2 gas for carbon dating, and I helped to build an Ion-sputter Mass Spectrometer.

I monitored the computer labs, helped students and teachers with their computer problems, and ran weekly computer clinics.

This was during my Junior year as my study abroad trip. I studied Japanese Language, Religion, and Literature
