International foundation focused on providing free treatment to children with Cleft Lip and Palate. Some of my tasks were: In coordination with the board of directors, I set up the foundation in Guatemala, created business plans, budgets and strategic goals. I built a very effective team of five staff members. I helped building long-standing relationships with corporate and private donors, government agencies and many other stakeholders. I managed marketing, public relations and activities.

As a communications and public relations expert for this project I designed and developed the communication strategy to improve communication with internal and external audiences at the Health Ministry in Guatemala. Implementing communication activities, evaluating corporate image and materials, organizing events and motivational activities with staff.

The communication goal of the Project was to train a group of 100 young people from the Izabal region of Guatemala in social journalism so they could become spokespersons for their communities and the daily challenges they face. I led different teams of facilitators, logistics and budget management.

The project focused on technical support for small agricultural producers. I was responsible for communication and PR activities as well as planning and coordinating major events.
