Acted as a Surveyor and Survey Assistant for street design. Office work involved drafting in Autodesk CIVIL 3D and AutoCAD Land Desktop, data manipulation, and analysis. Worked here while finishing my undergraduate degree.

Office responsibilities included cost analysis, control budget changes, engineering design, drafting and design in Autodesk CIVIL 3D, and correspondence with government authorities for approvals Designed a 42 lot subdivision, including road, lot, septic, and utilities design; was field engineer during construction Managed work crews and heavy equipment operations, materials acquisition, environmental permitting, construction surveying, and ensuring critical specifications and tolerances were met

Contributed to process streamlining of fruit and vegetable sorting, packing, and shipping operations. Responsibilities included design of operations processes and software development (SmartHort™). Acted as an On-site Manager and Foreman for the construction of a bird netting support structure project. Managed work crews and heavy equipment operations, materials acquisition, software training, and scheduling.

Lab work including agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation on apple cotyledon and petiole.
