I am responsible for the Business Development team in Central Europe. We proactively connect with new accounts and help the customer to design our LEDs in a lighting system. Either IR, industrial or illumination customer. Also account manager for laser business. Very broad knowledge, networking, communication skills and travel time are required ere.

First job after PhD which rapidly evolved. In the beginning I was responsible for a team of three technicians and the mirror coating team. The last two years I was responsible for the production engineering team for laser diode production (20 people basically engineers and technicians)

manufacturing and testing of superconducting sub-µm sized THz / GHz mixers for radioastronomic measurements. My devices actually flew for measurements at 1,9THz on the airborne observatory SOFIA!
