High Voltage Power Modules for Electromobility

Responsible for: - multi-project management, i.e. resources planning and administration, budget management, leadership of cross-functional teams, risk assessment, risk management, stakeholders management, customer communication (automotive OEMs and tier 1 companies), design to cost management, etc.; - business development, i.e. expand the client portfolio, acquire new projects, generate new business with prospect customers and commercial partners.

Responsibility: manage a task force of 30 people (mostly in middle management positions), organized in cross-functional teams, spread over 5 European locations. Main abilities developed during this assignment: - lead experienced senior managers under severe time pressure; - assess the impact of task force activities on product design, quality and manufacturing as well as on project resource allocation and on business case financial figures; - report to the company top management (C-level executives).

Responsible for leading the R&D team (i.e.: mechanical, optical, thermal management, software and electronics engineers) in development projects of automotive products, for interior and exterior solid state lighting applications.

Responsibilities: - manage manufacturing optimization and cost reduction activities for automotive electronics (build to print) projects, in two production plants located in Italy and China; - lead two cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, whose members included the heads of manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing and quality departments of the two production plants; - report to the respective plant managers the results achieved by the two teams, on a weekly basis.

Responsible for developing the electronic driver of a micro-structured adaptive front-lighting system, based on the use of LED pixel matrix technology for automotive applications.

Department of Information Engineering - Power Electronics Team Research and development of power converters for solid state street lighting, industrial lighting and renewable energy applications.

Research and development of electronic switching converters for power supply distribution networks, to be used in HL-Large Hadron Collider experiments, performed at CERN laboratories in Geneva (Switzerland).
