Similar to the role I took on in July 2014, I now work as interim Finance Manager in Avio-Diepen Hong Kong, which covers the Asia-Pacific market. Avio-Diepen has recently been acquired by Kapco Global, a US competitor. As a consequence this interim role also covers some transition elements. Avio-Diepen Hong Kong annual revenues are $ 43 million, employing 33 fte. The finance team consists of 4 people, including myself.

Tech Data is one of the world’s largest distributors of technology products, services, and solutions. In the European Controlling team, based in the Shared Service Centre in Barcelona, we work on projects aimed at improving efficiencies, cost savings, increasing profitability or managing risks. I managed or contributed to projects in expense report automation, cash application, sox controls and the review of certain costs relating to inventories.

Avio- Diepen is a Dutch based private company supplying airplane spare parts to the airline industry. I was responsible for all finance matters in Avio-Diepen Inc, the US subsidiary based in Atlanta, supervising a team of 6 people and being a member of the US management team. Avio-Diepen US revenues are $ 53 million per annum, employing 52 fte. The project also included identifying and initiating various improvements in the areas of banking, payment processes, accounts receivable, payroll etc.
