Responsible for the corporate management of Health, Safety, Environment and Asset Management, in a company with 29 production plants in 12 countries around the globe.

Responsible for management of Environment, Health & Safety, and Assets.

Responsible for the improvement of the process safety of some 80 production sites in some 40 countries.

Responsible for corporate safety management and EHSQ management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001). Managing the Business Area's EHSQ network, comprising of the EHSQ managers / VP EHSQ of the four BA's within Kemira.

Safety manager (Corporate): Health & Work Safety, Process Safety, Transport safety co-ordination; participation in Business Interruption & Property Damage Insurance inspections and co-operation with re-insurers and brookers. Managing a combination of site and SBU safety managers network.

Design & engineering of chemical plants (nitric acid, sodium percarbonate, hydrogen peroxide), and process safety related projects for our owner, Kemira Oyj.

Participated in EU research funded process safety related projects, in the field of process design & engineering safety with partners from other EU countries.

After half a year in procurement (purchasing, expediting), I worked in the process department, on oil & gas design and engineering projects.
