The talk and project, as part of a three series program, highlights questions on life, identity, memory and narratives in exile from an Eelam Tamil perspective.

In cooperation with Heinrich Böll Foundation, I was appointed as Interpreter for German, English and Tamil language during the Internationales Literaturfestival Berlin (ILB2017) for the award winning Indian writer Perumal Murugan's event and talk.

As Copy Editor, I was responsible for editing and proof reading the English language version of the edition Berlin Wedding - The Photobook while closely working with the Editor in Chief and Art Director.

As part of the Visual Cultures Forum, I presented my first curatorial work entitled 'Textile Tradition in South India' at the Department of Visual Communication of American University in Dubai. Together with the Illustrator, I developed a work that can be traced back to the rich textile tradition of 14th century India.

Reporting to the Global Practice Group Leader Oil & Gas, I was responsible for research and execution of an assignment from project winning to screening, selection, writing and editing profile notes, shortlist presentation while liaising with clients and supervising a team of junior researchers. I was also assisting in the Leadership Assessment & Development, career transition consulting and competitor benchmarking.

As Consecutive Interpreter for the public sector, I interpret at the Supreme Court, Police Commission and Administrative Tribunals in Berlin Germany. I am also responsible for document sight translation.

The project envisaged a comparative assessment of civil society activism in the field of anti-discrimination, minority rights and environmentalism. A particular emphasis was laid on the emerging structures of transnational partnership governance in the EU framework and beyond. My task consisted of proof reading, editing and writing research papers and articles in periodic journals as well as analyzing articles in the New York Times and The Times with relevant to the political communication in Europe.
