Priscila Rios

I work with innovation in the largest lawtech in Brazil, coordinating a team of 48 legal professionals. They are responsible for guaranteeing the quality of data analyzes with the Product Managers and technology team, in an agile environment. In this job I learned how to handle many projects while dealing with multiple stakeholders. I have a growing mindset to solve problems and dynamic challenges of the company. Besides, I developed Human Resources skills, such as hiring people and mentor new leaders.

I worked as a pedagogical coordinator of Law at the startup AppProva (founded in 2012), which was purchased in 2017/2018 by SOMOS Education and Cogna Education/Kroton, the biggest private companies of education in Brazil. I coordinated projects which involved the curated review of student assessment materials, used by Higher Education Institutions for training to the standard evaluation models in Brazil: ENADE (National Exam for the Student Performance) and OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).

The thesis investigate the big aspects of education in Law courses, such as legal training, curriculum structure and higher education assessments. The study ratifies that university expertise based on the accumulation of knowledge became insufficient to the social complexities and transformations The evaluations have a fundamental role in policies aimed at education, so I analyzed the ENADE (National Exam for the Student Performance) and OAB Exam (Brazilian Bar Association) to confirm the data.

Recognized internationally, UFMG School of Law is considered a center of excellence in legal education, professional training with great ability and critical view. The qualification of teachers - most have the title of doctor - and the high level of students ensure the recognition of its progress.
