Working in the Biotechnology Department as an associate researcher in the bioremediation unit. Responsible of investigating and applying new methods of degradation of aromatic compounds in contaminated soil. Working specifically with the degradation of toluene by the Magnetospirrillum bacteria in different environmental conditions. The internship involved applied skills in: biotechnology, genetics, molecular biology and environmental science.

Working directly on package engineering for food products, quality assurance, bench marketing with similar food products and sensorial tests on costumers. Working in the laboratory with analytical technics.

Working halftime a long with my studies. Helping Master students with their dissertation. Assisting them with technical support in the laboratory. Emphasizing the projects “Opuntia” and “Brocoli base diet for hamsters” belonging to the Natural Products Chemistry Department. Performing previous research, biotechnological testing of biochemical analysis and results interpretation.
