I was working on the Drosophila melanogaster. The Drosophila melanogaster serves as a genetic model system to study tracheal and epidermal epithelial in embryos and larvae. The plan is to analyse the gene/protein function by using genetic, molecular, and cellular tools, including genetic manipulations (gain/loss of function studies, Crispr-Cas9); DNA cloning, qRT-PCRs, enzymatic assays, Western Blot techniques, RNA/protein immunofluorescent labelling, and current state of the art microscopy.
