I am currently leading the Staffing/Recruitment for the Technical R&D and group QA at Novartis. In the Tech R&D role, the responsibilities include hiring experts in the field of drug formulation / analytics, chemical synthesis, product engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical trails, supply chain management etc. The group Quality Assurance responsibility encompasses staffing for the leadership roles across the different divisions of Global Novartis Quality organization.

The role was to co-lead / drive staffing activities for the global Development functions, at the Novartis Pharma site in India.The responsibilities included driving the organisational effort to build up visibility for Novartis across the Indian talent market, and attracting & hiring talent from niche talent pools. The talent needs addressed, included the areas of drug safety, epidemiology, medical writing, information technology, statistical programming/analysis, clinical data management, regulatory etc.
