Sebastian Wesserle

As a salesman for Jet Services, I represent the American IT company “HP” at electronic stores in Innsbruck. I am responsible for the promotion and sales of IT products, deal with business partners and customers and monitor the sales figures.

As a fitness trainer, I developed individualised meal and training plans in order to help my clients to achieve their personal goals.

As a promoter and salesman for Brand Embassy, I represented the Swiss brand Nespresso, which is an operating unit of the Nestlé Group.

For three years in a row, I looked after a group of ten to fifteen psychology freshmen. I was responsible for a positive group atmosphere and social activities. I also helped them organise their studies and to solve academical and personal problems.

I worked with groups of eight to thirteen elderly clients. My internship included the promotion of social and communication skills and motivational work, as well as assistance in therapy and memory groups.

As an intern, I assisted in therapy groups, psychological interviews, stress-management and social competence trainings.

I was responsible for the management, supervision, motivation and training of four employees. My team had to recruit interns from abroad and establish partnerships with companies and schools. As the team leader, I controlled the execution of delegated tasks at weekly team meetings, and constantly monitored the project progress and the financial framework. I also ensured the satisfaction of all parties involved.

As an HR employee in a team of five people, I was mainly responsible for the recruiting process, including sorting applications, job interviews, and creating and closing contracts. Furthermore, I established a close cooperation with the foreign AIESEC teams of the tendered projects to find suitable interns.

After finishing secondary school, I moved to Australia and worked as a teacher’s aide in the Junior School. I prepared classroom materials, assisted in class, supervised field trips and discussed students' progress with teachers and parents.

The focus areas of my studies are social, work-organisational, and clinical psychology. I studied one term abroad at the UP Diliman in the Philippines, where I learned to adapt quickly to a new university setting and different teaching approaches.
