Responsible for the worldwide coordination, monitoring and steering of all station-relevant ground operations of Austrian, its handling partners and all customer airlines at the HUB VIE. The focus is on punctuality, customer satisfaction and profitability. Traffic management includes active steering, controlling and specialized partner management in ongoing operations with the objective of continuous improvement of ground operation processes.

Responsible for a safe and secure ground operation according to safety levels set forth by the Safety Manager, according to EASA-OPS and other applicable governing rules as well as supervising Ground & Cargo Operations by defining, maintaining and continuously improving a management & supervision system, handling processes, training programs, a documentation as well a communication system to ensure that the respective duties and responsibilities can be executed.

The main tasks include the harmonization of quality standards to improve key figures and measurability within the Lufthansa Group, the definition of station-relevant annual quality targets, the monthly publication of the Ground Ops Performance Report, the implementation of regular performance dialogues for continuous improvement of relevant operational key figures (root cause analysis, definition of measures, review) as well as the evaluation of service level agreements.

Responsible to ensure a safe, efficient, stable, punctual, customer-oriented and economic operation of all aircraft and passenger handling activities worldwide.

Responsible for daily operation of up to 51 flights on 6 locations
