As Business Development Mgr. for XTL ("Anything To Liquid"), responsible to further develop Shell’s global portfolio for converting gas, coal or biomass into fuels and other liquid products. As CO2 Manager for the XTL and Clean Coal Energy teams responsible for building CO2 management capability and for representing Shell Gas & Power e.g. to external parties.

Provided direct daily support and advise to senior executive, focusing on day-to-day issues as well as longer-term strategic issues and specific projects or business matters.

Responsible for developing business opportunities in Shell's upstream M&A department. Providing analysis and strategic rationale for corporate take over candidates as well as evaluating oil and gas assets for acquisition, divestment or swap.

Focused on development of the Pinedale tight gas field. Responsible for reserve determination and reporting, well/field production forecasting and budgeting, in addition to supporting and advising the operations, drilling & completions teams as well as aligning with external partners.

Participated and sometimes led the evaluation of unconventional gas prospects with internal partners and 3rd parties. Activities included prospect screening and ranking, technical and commercial evaluation as well as risk and opportunity analysis for exploration and operations.

Exploration reservoir engineer for the Dutch on- and offshore. Built reservoir simulation models for exploration prospects, planned, supervised and interpreted well testing activities. Delivered reserves estimates, prepared well proposals and supported field development planning activities.

Participated in oil and gas production operations on multiple fields and facilities including plant start-up and shut down operations, activity planning, toolbox talks etc. Co-ordinated delivery of Asset Reference Plans and provided input to Field Development Plans.
