Developed long and short-term strategy and improvement project roadmap for MediaMarkt Turkey and MediaMarkt Sweden operations; and supported MediaMarkt Greece operations in terms of long-term strategy development. Acted as an end-to-end project owner / manager for MediaMarkt Turkey and MediaMarkt Sweden in term of identifying and planning necessary improvement projects, as well as developing related business solutions and deploying with the relevant stakeholders.

Delivered projects in the in the areas of strategy, operating model design, supply chain, smart city by conducting current state assessment, performing detailed data analysis, benchmarking and identifying improvement areas to build a development roadmap. Implemented projects for various companies operating in retail, home appliances, packaging, jewelry, steel pipe, government and public, pharmaceutical, data and customer experience management, and automotive sectors.

Held the leadership position for global converter projects’ overall implementation in the department and implemented projects for increasing efficiency of product lines by focusing on bottleneck areas based on statistical analysis and observations. Tracked Finished Product Quality, Material Utilization, Centerline DMS in the department, and managed General Material Utilization, Supply & Expense budgets.

Created an “end-to-end management system” for distributor channel; worked on a baseline demand forecasting project which resulted in ~30% increase in forecast accuracy of top sellers, and created an automatized analytical product transfer system among distributors in SKU level which was presented to UL Global Team for global deployment.

Focusing on data science and big data technologies which includes but not limited to Machine Learning, Spark, Hadoop, Social Network Analysis, Natural Language Processing, Recommendation Engines, Time Series Forecasting, Business Intelligence

Focused on statistics, operations research (OR), forecasting and optimization. Completed the graduation thesis on "Pre-launch lifecycle prediction & short-term demand forecasting for apparel products" utilizing R. Graduated with a GPA of 3.45 / 4.00.

Obtained a GPA of 3.89/4.00 at the end of the first year. Transferred to Bogazici University in 2012.
