I joined Dow for a 6-month internship during which I would complete my Master Thesis at ETH Zurich. My work was divided into two parts: the project on Optimization of the Order Management Process, which was also the topic of my thesis; and SuppIy Chain. I worked together with the Customer Service Department and tried to understand the struggle the customer service employees face. In the end, I was aiming for coming up with some improvement plans which would optimize the Order-to-Cash work process.

Tao Trading is a trading company which mainly sells massage tables and oils. With my chemical background, I assisted in launching the new Essential Oil Project. I was in charge of setting up the laboratory and purchasing raw materials; in the meantime, I also participated in the company’s Inventory Management and acquired some basic knowledge in the field of Supply Chain Management.

As a student trainee, I worked and studied on the production line of machine-made furnace coke; in addition, I assisted the general manager of the furnace coke factory with the daily meeting and presentation arrangement.
