My role is managing and governing database Environment to support the seamless business with Better performance and High availability Architecture, Resource Planning and executing IT projects on define timelines, handling various projects database upgrade, Database migration projects to New Data Center, preparing disaster recovery sites, Planning application releases and infrastructure activities, Planning new software/hardware procurements for business etc.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is the Dubai Government entity entrusted and transportation systems and with overseeing its vehicle registration and licensing procedures. Provided value to enrich the IT infrastructure of RTA’s mission-critical business application environments. Performed mainly high availability & Disaster Recovery (DR) site designing, Project management, Vendor management, implementation, Auditing, system security, support, and maintenance.

As a Consultant responsible for Database Design with Maximum availability architecture and implementation based on client business requirements. Performed Requirements Gathering - Scoping & Documenting, Elicit Requirements by customer meetings & categorization, System Analysis by building prototype & Templates, Identification and Verification of Solution.

As a team, we support round the clock for more than 200 customers across the world. The type of databases includes Live/Production, Development/Test. Responsible for database activities, Installation, Upgrades, migration, patching, cloning, Performance Tuning, System health checks and configuring/building new databases as per the client request. Provided extensive on-call support for more than 12 customers on a rotation basis.
