Data preparation and quality assurance in an advisory banking project. Taking responsibility for complex tasks and activity streams such as setup and implementation of the database infrastructure.

The main topic of my PhD thesis is analysis of data from the Large Hadron Collider collected with the ATLAS detector. I was also involved in the calibration of physics object recognition (b-jet tagging), data quality monitoring, detector operation monitoring in the control room as well as central production of data-files widely used in the collaboration. Additionally, during my continuous stay at CERN (04/2011-06/2012) I was an official CERN guide.

Member of the executive committee in academic years 2007/08 and 2009/10. Organised excursions to European Space Agency and Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (04/2008) and CERN (02/2010), arranged printing of the journal of IAPS.

Optimizing parameters of the radiation shielding for the HIE-ISOLDE experiment with help of FLUKA software. Detailed study of radioactivity in target area and experimental hall due to the planned increase of beam current from 2A to 10A in the upgrade of ISOLDE.

Master Thesis Project: Control software of the KUKA KR-500 robot arm. As the robot is used as motion simulator for psychophysical experiment it must perform a smooth motion and must not achieve itʼs singular positions, because of that reason the study of differential kinematics and customization of common used manipulability function was made.

Thank to the customized course of studies I could additionally follow many courses in mathematics and theoretical physics. My master project was an outcome of collaboration with the Max Planck Institute in Tübingen.
