Head of the central IT service unit of the University. Responsible for the structure and strategic development of IT provision for research and administration.

As Online Operations Manager since January 2005 I planned and managed the implementation of the GfK Global Online Panel platform, today this enterprise service manages centrally over 25 international online panels. Within this area, I’m responsible for the GfK Ad Hoc Services German Consumer Online Access Panel. As a psychologist and qualified IT specialist, together with my team I activate the interface between research methodology and the technical implementation of digital market research day by day.

Managed the IT- and research department. Responsible for project budget and manpower resources. Developed and implemented the web-based infrastructure for the online panel-management system, online production work-flow and data-collection, including development of special applications and tools. Customer consultancy and technical project management in complex online research projects.

Direction of cross-media development, project management of database based internet applications and technical planning of complex cross-media projects for the European Union, publishing companies and diocese Trier. Customer trainings in cross media data-management. Technical responsibility for hosting of web-, mail-, file- and intranet-server: ca. 40 domains and ca. 700 intranet-users of diocese Trier, Consultancy and acquisition and management of complex online-cross-media projects.

Build up a new EEG laboratory II, developed experimental applications and analyzing software. Managed the research project of Deutsche Forschungs Gesellschaft: “Stress, abnormal cerebral laterality and impairment of health“.
