Reporting to the Logistics Manager, I was in charge of two main logistics processes in the plant: -Productive and non-productive material planning and inbound operation, comprising around 5.000 items to fulfill an annual production volume of 200.000 vehicles, corresponding to an inventory of approximately USD 100 million. - Pre-series production logistics, comprising planning and executing the pre-series production program and material planning for small model-year changes and product face-lifts.

Reporting to the Logistics Senior Manager, I was responsible for the pre-series production and logistics of Volkswagen and Audi models for three plants within FAW-Volkswagen, a joint-venture between Chinese FAW and German Volkswagen Group.

Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, I had an important role in coordinating two small teams: - Inventory Control Team, which main tasks were the Cycle Counting and Inventory Management activities; - Bill of Material Team, responsible for maintaining all technical information related to all logistical processes in the plant (MRP, JIT/JIS, Product Costing).

Reporting to the Pre-Series Logistics Supervisor, I had the role of coordinating the Technical Information & Logistical Systems Team, responsible for the MRP & technical information management (B.o.M./JIT). -Preparation and installation of processes during the pre-production phase of new vehicle models. -Standardization of internal processes related to technical information and logistical support systems between all teams in the Logistics Dept.

Reporting to the Pre-Series Logistics Manager, I had supporting roles on the following activities: -Implementation of support systems for Just-In-Time in 3 assembly lines/7 vehicle models. -Internal consultant for logistical processes and BoM systems. -Training of a 25-employee team in systems & processes. -Supporting the Chinese team in global projects involving five different Volkswagen or Audi plants worldwide (Germany, Mexico and China).
