Researching the applicability of 3D visualizations for air-traffic-control in cooperation with the German Air-Navigation-Services and Airbus.

Planning, executing and reporting Usability and Human Factors studies in Healthcare, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, and Media industry. Providing expert input to user centered soft- and hardware design. Creating interaction concepts for embedded, mobile, and desktop software. Conducting workshops on Usability Engineering, User Centered Design, and Human Factors Engineering. Developing Usability and Human Factors test equipment incl. qualification and validation.

Responsible for independently leading the planning, execution and reporting of human factors studies and user interface design, according to current regulations and guidelines within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Providing expert input to software, device, and packaging design teams to establish system design, operating and training requirements. Developing driver-assistant-systems and head-up-display concepts for Mercedes-Benz cars.

Thesis: "Stereoscopic Displays for Air-Traffic-Control" in cooperation with Airbus Defence and Security and under the supervision of Prof. Alf Zimmer. Managing the cooperation between the University of Regensburg and Airbus Defence. Teaching Human-Factors-Psychology and Industrial Design on a masters level at the University of Regensburg. Supervising bachelor and master students' theses projects.
