We break down the strategic targets of Commerzbank into operational sales targets. We communicate those targets, we measure them and we controll them. This way, we make Sales a strategic tool of the Corporate Management.

During my first management position, I was able to further develop steering methods in order to implement Commerzbank's attempt to be one of the leading Cash & Trade Services provider.

During that time, I was responsible for the Sales Steering of the Corporate Customers department. The post-Lehman time was challenging, liquidity risks have been a new task to be included in steering models.

Directly reporting to the Executive, I was responsible for developing the business model of the Financial Institutions department. Within that time, Commerzbank became one of the leading Cash & Trade Services provider.

Giving advice to the Relationship Manager of Financial Institutions concerning the risk profiles of their customer relationships has been the most important task. I was also responsible for implementing Basel II and developing pre-calculation systems.
