Postdoc in CFD as part of a multi-disciplinary team from two universities (KIT and Heidelberg) and industrial partners. Therein, I lead the fluid dynamics team. The project is BMBF funded and intends to combine existing simulation tools from the different groups to one fully coupled heart model. My experience in modelling the fluid flow in the heart are to be combined with its mechanical deformation, the electrical activation and flow, and a model of the circulatory system.
