My role involves contacting existing and previous donor's of concern about a number of campaigns, with the purpose of increasing funds for the charity. My duties include: - Contacting existing donors to increase their donations; re-activating lapsed donors; and converting once-off donors to regular givers. - Informing supporters about the benefits of the charitable tax back scheme, and also about other non-financial campaigns - Forming call scripts by researching Concern's programe work

I helped research and secure corporate supporters for ActionAid’s fundraising initiatives. I was also responsible for a broad range of administrative tasks. My duties included: • Acquiring corporate supporters for ActionAid’s fundraising initiatives. • Researching and identifying potential corporate supporters for ActionAid. • Supporting the running of report on the Raisers Edge Database. • Assisting with database work and dealing with supporter inquiries on the phone and e-mail.

I was the chief organiser of ActionAid's 'Yoga Day 2016' fundraiser event, which raised over €5000 for ActionAid's ongoing humanitarian work in Nepal. My duties included: - Enlisting yoga teachers and yoga centres to participate in the event, while maintaining interest through regular correspondence. - Securing media coverage of the event in both regional and national Irish media. - Organising sponsorship for the event through written proposals. - Organising the marketing of the event,

I provided support in the implementation of national PR campaigns for Oxfam’s Christmas fundraising initiatives. My duties included: . • Writing press releases on Oxfam’s fundraising events for national and regional media. • Liaising with national and regional media on the promotion of Oxfam campaigns • Updating content on Oxfam Ireland website • Writing articles on the work of Oxfam staff members, and subsequently getting them published in regional media and the Oxfam Ireland blog
