As a part of Grace's Sales and Technical Customer Service group, my major activities were: • Working with current and potential customers to develop silica based industrial solutions • Evaluating trends in nanotechnology, materials, coatings and additive manufacturing industries • Developing new industrial applications of GRACE's silica products • Creating sales tools and technical content

I am mainly forming and maintaining partnerships for high-impact nano and biotech projects. I am also taking part in internal and customer-specific R&D projects.

• Offering scientific solutions and research services with focus on: - Applications of nanotechnology, thin films and specialty materials - Selection, purchasing and applications of state-of-the -art surface characterization instruments (atomic force microscopes, electron microscopes, optical tweezers, etc.) • Connecting product developers, researchers and scientists of common interests

• Developed nano- and micron scale coatings and functional surfaces for various products in collaboration with leading global partners • Led a small research team and managed technical aspects of R&D projects • Analysed technological trends and advances; integrated outcome to the ongoing innovative work • Established and maintained partnerships; represented company in international meetings; took active part in solution selling and business development

Designed and led research projects on structure, rheology and nano-mechanics of polymer, colloid and liquid crystal thin films. Published and presented scientific results in international journals and conferences. Developed software solutions and instrumental methods (force microscopy, rheometry, etc.). Obtained collaborators, trained team and supervised junior members

Completed several research projects on structural and rheological properties of polymer systems and surfaces. Developed software methods and hardware add-ons for atomic force microscopy. Trained students and team members, maintained instruments

Worked on synthesis, characterization and environmental applications of metal nanoparticles. Gave courses on instrumental methods in physical chemistry
