My day to day tasks include configuring L3 switches, propagating VLANS to maintain an updated infrastructure, allowing traffic flow by modifying firewall rules in CISCO ASA and Checkpoint devices, associating new devices with the monitoring tools such as TACACS, Cisco Works, Netview and Vitalnet. Also offering support by troubleshooting tickets as they arise to enable the client to access the infrastructure in the data center.

Network specialist focused on performing software upgrades and troubleshooting the devices that were touched during the upgrade for Alcatel network located in USA. -Doing pre-checks testing the device to ensure it's ready for upgrade and postchecks to make sure the device is running properly -Changing parameters in eNodeBs through the UNIX based 5620 SAM -Patching and troubleshooting the RNCs and NodeBs using the Citrix XenApp platform , WMS tools

-Practical experience working with clients offering troubleshooting for ADSL,VDSL,FFTH,FFTX,VOIP,CDMA,IPTv,PSTN connections as well as remote assistance. -Troubleshooting internet connections via remote connection to the client pc (usually for wireless connections or clients with less knowledge of configuring router for portforward) -For the morning shifts making the daily incindents rapport -Communicating with the NOC departments escalating different issues (IP issues, 678 errors, low speed,etc)
