Fully responsible for operations and P&L for UK, Ireland, Scandinavia & Baltics.

As Head of Service for UK & Eire, I am responsible for managing a team of 73 people looking after all aspects of our clients wind turbine Operation and Maintenance requirements from simple repairs to managing complete turnkey sites.

Reponsible for company wide operations, operational improvements and P&L performance.

Responsible for the operational, commercial and strategic decisions as well as full P&L responsibility for the service department.

Managing technical and service function throughout Northern Europe. Approving new equipment purchases (diesel generators, transformers and fluid chillers) and design specifications for internal and external suppliers.

Managing the technical support throughout Northern Europe covering the UK, Ireland and the Nordic countries. The support covers many varied areas, however, it was mainly aimed at providing a high level engineering design and support to enable accurate specification, mobilisation and implementation of power packages. This included analysing package fault requirements and capabilities, protection selection and setting and designing bespoke control solutions to match customer requirements.

Involved in the design and specification of generators, specifically control and protection; one such project was the design of a 2MW diesel generator for the rental market the position also involved producing policy documents such as Electrical Protection Recommendations.

New product development and integrating the "voice of the customer" into new products using QFD.
