Responsible for the successful preparation of the Fund Accounting Department for it’s first review by Internal Audit and temporarily managing the Expenses / Client Reporting Team. The Fund Accounting Department received a satisfactory rating from Internal Audit with only 1 minor finding. Introduction of additional controls to the expense payments process and strengthening of existing controls.

Responsible for the successful management of the Reconciliation Department providing Cash and Stock Reconciliations for funds domiciled in Citi Luxembourg. This includes active participation in weekly conference calls with our Internal Client to discuss service standards and to monitor and improve same through the production of key KPI and staff training, development and mentoring. I also managed the Risk & Controls function on an interim basis for 3 months.

Responsible for the successful management of these two teams with a total headcount of 24 and servicing a large number of key, strategic clients. Role included strong focus on timely resolution of reconciliation breaks and improving service to clients and improving efficiency and reducing risk.

Responsible for the successful management of this large, diverse department with a staff of 30+ with the remit of providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external Clients and developing and implementing procedures as required to maximise efficiency and reduce business risk. Provided a "full service" Custody offering to all Clients.

Responsible for building and developing relationships between a number of high profile Custody only Clients and the Company. Acting as senior point of contact for all Client issues.

Responsible for all aspects of the Custody Department. Successfully met customer needs through the introduction of new business areas to the Dublin office ( Securities Lending Administration and Tax Reclaims ). Throughout this period I was responsible for the recruitment, mentoring and development and retention of a team of multicultural staff.

First designated head of these two departments with responsibililty for the efficient running of the departments.

Responsible for the set up, procedures and staff training for the Custody and Trustee departments. This required liaison with the company head office in Luxembourg and developing new systems and processes for the Trustee department.
