Chief Engineer Engine Development. Entirely new engine family. Manufacturing in France, China and Brazil. Responsible for the development for China and Brazil markets. Responsible for key customer attributes (power, fuel economy, emissions, cold start, NVH, drivability, diagnostic), software, electronics, calibration and vehicle integration. Management of multifunctional and multicultural (European, Chinese, Brazilian…) teams within a a complex organization. Management of strong key suppliers.

Joint project between PSA and BMW for the development of a new strategic technology. Responsible for key customer attributes (power, fuel economy, emissions, cold start, NVH, drivability, diagnostic) and calibration. Management of a team of 25 engineers on 4 different locations in France and in Germany. Daily work languages: English, German and French. I received the director’s congratulations for achieving higher performances than targeted within a shortened schedule and keeping within budget.

Shared time between the engine plant in Metz (3/5) and the technical center in Paris (2/5). Achievement of a strong quality improvement for customers (45% fewer breakdowns and 30% lower warranty costs) through product and process improvements. Leadership of a team of 18 people (3 engineers, 11 technicians and 4 workers). Change management. Good knowledge of manufacturing process and plant functioning.
