s an assistant manager within the Mineral Resource Dpt activities, I follow some of the projects it is involved in. Morevoer, as a discipline leader in the mining field, I’m focused on team leading and communication among the other Group’s departments and the suppliers.

Conceiving solutions and supplying technical assistance for the management and the optimization of the raw materials deposits suitable for cement production. Within CTG’s Mineral Resources Dept. I am responsible for the technical assistance to be given to the Moroccan and Chinese subsidiaries (on the whole 6 plants with a total production capacity higher than 7 Mt/y clinker) and others plants for more specific matters.

Specifically, my job was focused on designing and carrying out onsite tests for the rock stress estimation by means of Hydrofrac, a device that I completely conceived and developed in cooperation with CNR-IGAG c/o Politecnico di Torino during my Ph.D.

Consulting and designing activities in the mining field, both open-pit and underground, with specialization in stability analysis through the application of the main calculation codes, i.e. FEM, FDM, DEM, Key Block Theory.

Designing, development and start up of Hydrofrac, a complete system for a 3D rock stress estimation in rock masses. Performing of the main laboratory tests and management of the related software applications.
