 Managed procurement of parts from local & import sources, with the sole objective of Zero Line stoppages & within the targeted inventory.  Developed strategies to reduce Inventory in plant & in-transit and ensured part supportability during engineering changes with the target of minimal obsolescence  Sound knowledge of (ERP) Material tracking system such as CMMS3. (Common materials management system used Ford world-wide.)

 Responsible for the procurement of indirect materials and led the logistics function including the Cold chain management (both active & passive cold chain solutions).  In bound logistics handling including customised solutions for vendors, in the milk run  Led the AL Paint shop lines such as PT-ED, sealer lines and Top coat production lines.
