The main objective of this position was to help the firm's global user community maximize - through training, documentation and post-training support - the use of the tech tools, systems and applications. My main tasks and responsibilities includeded analyzing training needs, designing courses, developing curriculums, and improving them, as needed. The primary focus was facilitating instructor-led training sessions and distance learning sessions via audio/web conference and the production of video courses.

Searching for candidates in internal & external databases Supporting researchers, including: Generating candidate profiles and client reports Creating company information packages in German and English language (compiling information on company structure and its management board, as well as conducting press runs) Preparing mapping documents / organigram charts Collecting information about candidates and relevant companies (using Boolean search techniques and various databases) Building newsletters

Translation of general and specialised texts (technical [mostly automotive], marketing with financial and legal topics, as well) in English and German. During this time, I spent half a year living in Montpellier, France. The online nature of translation allowed me to work from anywhere, which made it possible for me to accompany my wife on her Erasmus scholarship spent in Southern France.

I helped ca. 50+ "students” of all ages (from beginners up to C1 level) achieve better grades at school, pass their matura exam or language exam, or simply get better at English and/or German. This part-time job helped me become a more confident user of both languages and my mother tongue, but also let me discover my love for vocabulary enrichment, focus on grammatical accuracy and structured thinking, and it also cemented my ambition to become a person working with people, languages and communication.
