Overall responsibility for WorldQuant's Romania subsidiary. Building and managing a team of quantitative researchers. WorldQuant is a private institutional investment management complex consisting of an international team of researchers and technologists who constantly work toward even greater quantification and automation in the development of its processes.

Accountable for the end to end delivery of a wide portfolio of Anti Financial Crime/Anti Money Laundering, Legal, Compliance and Audit technology programs Overseeing from a development and delivery perspective multiple programs such as case management, internal and online fraud, name list screening, transaction monitoring, anti-bribery and corruption, findings management systems, enterprise legal management, employee registration, control room/Chinese Wall applications.

Accountable for the set-up and delivery of CB&S applications, including interaction and integration with the quant teams in Frankfurt and London Delivery included the entire stack of activities (including business analysis, UX/UI design, development, testing, architecture, release management, application management, application support and maintenance, program and project management)

Represent Dell in the state, government, and industry/professional associations, leading and guiding all activities and organizations part of Dell Group in Romania. Dell was providing outsourcing services for a wide group of customers (in highly regulated industries, like government, healthcare and financial as well as unregulated businesses) for the entire operational and development stack, including data centre operations. Built and established the SecureWorks and DFS presence as new lines of business.

Responsibility for the delivery assurance of Dell’s services engagements in EMEA and APJ and global accounts managed out of these regions (with an international team reporting into me, with team members in UK, Romania and India). This included deal governance reviews, due diligence activities for large accounts, transition assurance and was achieved by partnering with Business Development, Solutioning, Transition and Delivery teams to identify risks and mitigate those in the final cost models and solutions.

Accountable for the delivery for Public accounts in the EMEA and APJ geographies, such as Max Healthcare (India), Building Schools of the Future (UK), Sidra (Qatar). For a period of 2 months, I was stationed in Delhi (India) in order to bring several projects back on track.

Responsible for the management of the Healthcare services team based in Romania, covering multiple global accounts. I have also run several remediation projects for Healthcare accounts globally.

The company provided consulting and training services (project management, ITIL, Sales Excellence) as well as mentoring services to key people in our customers’ organisations. We were serving customers both in Romania, EU, Asia and delivered services in more than 20 countries, bridging cultural and language gaps. I also built and delivered online training sessions to large audiences (in excess of 200 online concurrent participants).

Led the Consulting and Premier Support business for Microsoft in Scotland. Accountable for an aggressive campaign to re-establish Consulting Services as a player in the Scottish market, after many years of disconnect from the local public (administration, health and education) and private businesses (banking, utilities and ISVs). I doubled the size of the Premier Support Services within 1 year of assuming the role.

Responsible for Developer and Platform Evangelism delivery in 9 territories in south-eastern Europe (Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina, FYROM). This entailed engaging and fostering growth of developer communities (corporate and ISVs) as well as enthusiasts.

Fully accountable for setting up the Consulting and Premier Support organization in Romania. Managing the services organization for Romania and Bulgaria, with full P&L and customer satisfaction accountability. Engaged with both public and private sector organizations.

Accountable for both End-User Technology and IT Operations. Direct accountability for the billing cycle and for the performance of the systems used by Customer Services organizations, therefore directly impacting of the first ever mobile operator reputation in the market. Established the first ITIL based processes in the company.
