Worked with the engineering team on the design and construction of a state-of-the-art Offshore Jack-Up oil and gas Drilling Rig. My tasks were to develop a vendor surveillance program, support and review the design of the PA/GA System, CMS, LAN and WAN networks and develop plans and processes for a virtual warehouse for storing and labeling all supplies and spare parts for the drilling rig.

Developed, implemented and enforced a quality management system to ensure the oil and gas health and safety equipment delivered to our customers on drilling projects were above industry standards. Managed the personnel and budget for multiple warehouses and repair shops in the region. Earned ISO certification (ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001:2015, OSHA 18001:2007). I was also responsible for managing the inventory for all consumables and equipment for current and future projects.

Oversaw a wide range of functions such as supervised the monitoring and troubleshooting of satellite and terrestrial WAN systems from a central command center, maintained logs for recording the stability of the network and outages that occurred during the shift duty, provided leadership, training and motivation for the shift team.

Strategically led troubleshooting for the resolution of SATCOM network outages on the KA-, Ku-, C- and X-band satellite communication systems, conduct scheduled network path testing and routine equipment maintenance and trained subordinate engineers. Completed a special project that involved overseeing the installation, testing, and inauguration of a new Ka-band satellite communication system
