Buyer behavior has changed more in the past 10 years than in the past 100 years, and sales professionals have to adjust their selling techniques to the modern buyer. My job is to enhance the sales programs and enable sales professionals to listen, engage and sell to customers using the digital sales technologies. I am in constant search for new methods to modernize the sales process and help the sales representatives to sell more effectively.

As part of the Social team at Oracle Direct EMEA, my goal was to bring sales into the next level of social media engagement. My main responsibilities were to research and develop the Twitter Enablement Program and design a training fitting the needs of the salespeople at Oracle Direct. My research enriched the enablement program and added an additional channel to the social selling strategy. This project was also part of my university graduation project.

As an operations intern, I was responsible for all the activities that have to be performed after a customer books a tour. My daily activities included: liaising with suppliers, preparing all the final documentation for the customers, solving any ambiguities concerning the tour planning, and taking care of any changes in tour packages.

The internship covered the fields of: customer service, basic banking products and procedures, team management, and recruitment process, including participation in the job interviews. Working in Deutsche Bank gave me a great insight into the banking sector and branch management.
