- Self-directed planning and conducting experiments to analyze surface structures of oxides at the atomic level in UHV. - Fabrication of thin films using PLD for own experiments as well as for samples provided to collaboration partners. - Maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment, as well as acquisition of new devices. - Publication and presentation of research results at international conferences. - Supervision of Master’s and project theses. - Participation in public outreach activities.

Working in a clean room, I assisted in the assembly and quality control of electron microscopes.

I worked one-on-one with high school students in subjects such as mathematics and physics. I developed action plans based on students’ and educators’ academic goals.

My task was to implement an algorithm for evaluating the quality of printed samples using Python and C++.

Growth and Surface Structures of La0.8Sr0.2MnO3(001) - Eigenständige Planung und Durchführung von Experimenten zur Analyse der Oberflächenstrukturen auf atomarer Ebene von Oxiden im Ultrahochvakuum. - Herstellung von Dünnschichtfilmen mittels Laserstrahlverdampfung (pulsed laser deposition, PLD) für eigene Experimente sowie als Proben für Kollaborationspartner. - Wartung und Reparatur von Laborequipment sowie Beschaffung neuer Geräte. - Interpretation und Analyse großer Datenmengen.
