Holger Berse

Heading an international team of senior IT analysts in IT Infrastructure. As cross functional team we manage the ITIL processes, IT Security and Compliance topics, Quality Management, Internal Audits as well as inspections from regulatory authorities, Computer System Validation. In addition to that my team runs complex international projects, such as site integrations or separations. Team members are from US, UK, France, Italy, and Germany.

I headed a team of 10 developers. Our Part was to develop Patient Management and Electronic Patient Record Software for the new Hospital Information System. Development object oriented in C++ on Informix DBMS. Analysis and Design was in UML implemented with a CASE tool. I was also chief architect.

I worked in education of students in C, Information Systems, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Mentoring of Diploma Thesises. Project work was in the mining area (Expert System for Escape Way Planning), Expert System to assist travel agecies, Workflow and rule based engines for office automation.

In parallel to my eductation at University I developed, implemented and supported hardware / sorftware solutions for different small and mid size companies, eg. Invoicing, Fleet Management for a TAXI company (Auto Berse GmbH), Order Management, Invoicing for a Steel Pipe Isolation Manifacturer, Micro Marketing for a Marketing Company, Order and Weight Management for a Truck Weights Company (standard product).

Unterstützung der Unternehmenleitung im elterlichen TAXI Unternehmen. Einführung einer ersten EDV Lösung für die Fakturierung.
