Currently, in DLR, I am working on an optical navigation project. The purpose of the project is to develop a wildly used optical navigation technology. Our prototype is named as Integrated Positioning System (IPS). IPS can provide motion trajectory of the device as well as 3D model of surrounding environment. IPS makes use of stereo cameras and IMU as primary sensors. In the group, my task is to develop new algorithm for IPS, to improve the performance of the system.
